The Hard Sell #268: Zulu Dawn

Advertising: the rattling of a stick in a swill-bucket? Welcome to the show where the stick rattles back: The Hard Sell. Adverts from history, treated with the respect they deserve. This episode: Back to 1980 and the Boxing Day matinee of Zulu! Oh, no, wait, it's Zulu Dawn, the inferior prequel, never mind. Still, there's plenty of sales on, mostly for white goods and appliances that have just become affordable to the common folks! Also consider the wonders of soup, herbal cough surps, anti-dandruff shampoo and breasts. Which we're not above ourselves, as you'll have noticed. patreon.com/applemask bobthefish.org.uk
