Quick recap of how my Arctic Fox camper has turned into a power station for part of my property.
I show the solar panels on the Connex box and camper, my adjustable tilt panel, where everything plugs in, and the Victron app showing exactly how much solar power is coming in and where it’s being used.
While the camper is parked at home, I use it to help power three buildings on the property, including my workshop and Connex box, through dedicated 20-amp circuits.
I also fire up the truck and show my three DC-to-DC chargers pulling over 1,800 watts from the alternator into the camper battery bank.
By using the camper, solar, and battery system this way, I’m cutting my grid usage by roughly 10–20 kWh per day.
Instead of the camper just sitting here costing me money, it’s now actually helping lower my electric bill.
