Photographing the Milky Way at a Railroad Crossing | Night Photography

I spent a hot July night photographing the Milky Way at a scenic railroad crossing in western Wisconsin, not far from the Twin Cities. Before the stars came out, I even had the chance to photograph a train as it came around the corner at sunset. In this photography adventure, I'll take you along as I scout the composition, photograph the sunset and wait for the Milky Way to line up over the railroad crossing.
