When I set out on a storm chase back on June 10, I didn't expect the adventure would end 12 hours later shooting red sprites and the milky way core. After spending time following storms in western Wisconsin and Lake Elmo, after dark I turned my focus to red sprites and unexpectedly, the milky way core, in my hometown Woodbury.
