E + R = O

I was honored to be taken under his wing and learn from his life's work, The Success Principles, which he wrote with another friend, Janet Switzer. There are concepts and principles in that book that have helped guide me ever since. One of the most powerful "Take 100% Responsibility in Your Life" and the equation to achieve it, E + R = O. The E stands for Events, the R stands for Responses, and the O stands for Outcomes. The concept is fairly simple...it is not the Events in our lives that determine our Outcomes. In reality it is the Events combined with our Responses to those Events that determine our Outcomes. In short, if you want better Outcomes in life create better Responses to the Events in your life!
