Presented by the Bon Scott Estate (bonscottofficial.com), Bon’s Birthday Bash brought together an impressive lineup of musicians, friends, and devoted fans for an incredible musical tribute to one of rock's most enduring voices. The night began with a special pre-show gallery featuring rarely seen live photographs of the Aussie rock god by acclaimed photographer Steve Joester. Hosted by Terrie Carr, the tribute concert featured performances by accomplished metal singers both male and female Corey Glover, Constantine Maroulis, Jimmy Kunes, Militia Vox (who’s being honored by the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame as part of its Women In Metal: You Will Know My Name exhibit), Peter Shaw, Paul Bertolino, Chris Antos, Devon Marie, Erik Toast, James Maddock, Mig Ayesa, Lisa McQuaid, Craig Allen, Steve Brown, Sean G. Dolan, Craig Schoenbaum, and special guest Frank Ferrer of Guns N' Roses. Backing the performers throughout the night was an accomplished house band featuring Paul McGilloway on lead guitar, John Jackson on rhythm guitar, Ivan Bodley on bass, and Kenny Soule on drums. Throughout the evening, performers covered many of Scott’s epic, powerhouse songs (including “T.N.T.,” “Let There Be Rock,” and “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”) that helped define AC/DC's early years, celebrating his unique voice, larger-than-life personality, and lasting influence on generations of rock musicians. Fans sang along to classic favorites while stories and memories underscored the impact Scott continues to have more than four decades after his passing. Blending live performances, rare photographs, and heartfelt tributes, Bon Scott's 80th Birthday Bash served as both a celebration of his remarkable career and a reminder that his spirit remains very much alive through the music that continues to inspire rock fans around the world.
