This week, we’re heading to Porthdinllaen on the beautiful Llŷn Peninsula in North Wales, where our latest campervan adventure gets off to a rather unfortunate start! We arrive at the campsite only to discover that the barrier is down, reception is closed, and nobody seems to be answering our calls or messages. Have we managed to find a campsite that doesn’t actually want us? Luckily, a helpful local comes to our rescue, opens the barrier, and even shows us where to find our pitch but Liv is not happy! 😂 With that little drama out of the way, we head out to explore the stunning Porthdinllaen headland, taking in the RNLI lifeboat station, the coastal lookout tower, and the fascinating remains of an Iron Age hill fort overlooking the sea. But let’s be honest, there’s one destination I’ve been particularly looking forward to… 🍻 We finish our visit at the legendary Tŷ Coch Inn, the famous red pub right on the beach. With its incredible setting, beautiful views, and a pint by the sea, could this really be my new favourite pub in the world? Join us as we explore another beautiful corner of Wales in our campervan, with a little campsite chaos, some local history, spectacular coastal scenery, and a very good reason to have a few drinks.
