After struggling to find somewhere to park my campervan for the night, Bella and I discover what becomes my favourite beach of the journey so far. But between the coastal walks, filming, editing and keeping everything powered off-grid, I’m realising I need to make more time to simply enjoy the life I’ve come here to live.
This part of my Pembrokeshire journey takes us from St Davids Cathedral and the Bishop’s Palace to Marloes Sands, Raggle Rocks, views of Albion Sands and a visit to Dale. There’s beautiful coastline, a well-earned treat at Runwayskiln, an honest chat about ADHD and overwhelm, and another lovely beach where the signs make it clear I can’t stay overnight. As evening approaches, I head towards Freshwater West with a backup plan for somewhere to sleep.
What’s the most beautiful beach you’ve visited and how do you balance capturing a moment with actually enjoying it?
I’d love to hear in the comments.

I’m Sara Burton, and Next Chapter Diaries follows me as I travel the UK coastline in my campervan with my dog Bella exploring places, having adventures and figuring out what my own next chapter looks like along the way.
I hope sharing the beautiful bits, the unexpected bits and the everyday reality might encourage you to think about what you’d like your own next chapter to look like too.
