Chinnakondur is a former legislative assembly constituency in Telangana that was later renamed and reorganized into the Bhongir Assembly constituency. In the early elections of independent India (such as 1951 and 1957), Chinnakondur functioned as a designated assembly constituency in the former Hyderabad State and early combined Andhra Pradesh eras. Representation: Prominent Telangana freedom fighter and leader Konda Laxman Bapuji won from the Chinnakondur constituency in 1957 before it was renamed to Bhongir. Current Geography village & Mandal: Today, a village named Chinnakondur exists within the Choutuppal mandal, located in the Yadadri Bhuvanagiri district (formerly part of Nalgonda district). Current Constituency: Geographically, this area currently falls under the Munugode Assembly constituency.
