Today's devotion reminds us that we may not have much control over our circumstances, but we can still choose to be joyful. Our thoughts are extremely important because emotions and behaviour flow out of them. So endeavour to make good thought-choices. God can help you line up your thinking with the absolute truths of Scripture. His continual Presence is a biblical promise, so seek to see Him in the midst of your circumstances. Pray for discernment. Genesis 28:15 says: "And, behold, I am with thee, and will keep thee in all places whether though goest, and will bring thee again into this land; for I will not leave thee, until I have done that which I have spoken of thee".
