After almost a month on the road, we ended our Costa Rica adventure with coffee, volcanoes and one spectacular view. ☕🌋 For the final stop of our Costa Rica road trip, we headed back towards San José and stayed at Finca Rosa Blanca, a boutique hotel surrounded by coffee plantations overlooking the Central Valley. After the long drive from the Osa Peninsula, the beautiful setting made it the perfect place to slow down before our flight home. The next morning, we explored the coffee plantation and learned how Costa Rican coffee is grown, processed and prepared. Then we headed to Poás Volcano, one of Costa Rica's most accessible volcanoes and one of the country's most famous volcanic landscapes. In this video: ☕ Costa Rican coffee plantation 🌱 Coffee farm tour ☕ How coffee is processed 🏡 Finca Rosa Blanca 🌋 Poás Volcano National Park 🌋 Volcanic crater 🌫️ Weather and visibility at Poás 🏙️ Views over the Central Valley ♨️ Final evening in Costa Rica 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦 Costa Rica road trip with children The weather at Poás wasn't perfect during our visit, and the volcano was hidden behind clouds and volcanic gases. But that's another lesson from travelling around Costa Rica: nature doesn't work to your itinerary. Sometimes you get the spectacular crater view. Sometimes you get fog. And sometimes the clouds disappear just as you're driving away. We finished our trip back at Finca Rosa Blanca, enjoying coffee and the view over San José from the hot tub. We stayed at 🏡 Finca Rosa Blanca Coffee Farm, a National Geographic Lodge of the world and probably our favorite accommodation during our one month in Costa Rica: https://fincarosablanca.com/en/ To visit the 🌋 Poas National Park you should buy your tickets in advance here: https://www.sinac.go.cr/EN-US/ac/accv... And just like that, our month-long Costa Rica road trip came to an end. 🇨🇷 Planning your own Costa Rica road trip?
