recently experienced the beautiful Obon Festival in Hiroshima, Japan 🇯🇵 — a traditional celebration of remembrance, family, ancestors, and community. Obon is a special time in Japan when people honor and remember their ancestors. One of the most beautiful parts of the celebration is Bon Odori, where people gather together, often wearing yukata, and dance around a traditional yagura while enjoying music, taiko drums, lanterns, and festival food. What looks like a fun summer festival has a much deeper meaning — it is a time to remember those who came before us and celebrate the bonds that connect generations.
