Taichi Yang Style Applications Demo Part 1

This video shows today's public lesson of master Zhang Haisong showing the partner applications of Taichi Yang style from Wang Yongquan school lineage. This lineage represents the old Yang style as inherited from Yang Jianhou and Yang Luchan. Here we have the first three forms, namely the Beginning Form, Pulling the Bird's Tail and Single Whip correct forms, stances, internal feelings and external actions. The emphasis is put on the concept of "Fan Song" which means relaxing, the muscular tonus still maintains the frame although is minimal provided the correct frame is maintained. The differences between this style and the widely popularised traditional Yang style are obvious.
