About the guest - Dr. Trilochan Sastry is one of India's most distinguished management academics, a democratic-reforms crusader, and a social entrepreneur. A former Dean of IIM Bangalore, he is the founder and chairman of the Association for Democratic Reforms (ADR), the organisation whose landmark Supreme Court PILs forced electoral candidates to publicly disclose their assets, liabilities, educational qualifications and criminal records, permanently reshaping transparency in Indian democracy. An alumnus of IIT Delhi (B.Tech, Electrical Engineering), IIM Ahmedabad (MBA) and MIT (Ph.D., Operations Research), Trilochan spent over two decades on the IIMB faculty, having taught earlier at IIM Ahmedabad and the Indian School of Business. Beyond the classroom, he founded the Centre for Collective Development (CCD) and Farmveda, social ventures that build cooperatives for small and marginal farmers and channel profits back to the farmers themselves.
