Kaydee flies in first to the basement of the nest tree just before dusk. She makes her way to the nest to check out the sticks and wait for Shadow to join her. Kaydee waited almost a half hour...she flew off and then returned two minutes later hoping to see Shadow on the nest. Shadow was not in view this evening but he made his way to the Roost Tree for the night. Kaydee's youthful exuberance is an endearing quality to have and one that Shadow will appreciate.
