Mary in the Junkyard on shucking oysters, George Tavern and their excellent debut album

Mary in the Junkyard have released one of 2026's best albums with Role Model Hermit. Claris, Saya and David tell us how it feels in the whirlwind of the moment and squaring off their double lives of playing in an increasingly successful band while working at the George Tavern / teaching music / trial shifts at an oyster shucking bar. Role Model Hermit is out now and you can catch them live this year. Get in touch giles@mightymoonmedia.com Thanks The Miller for having us.
