Live build of the sign-up platform for the Hey Richmond Citywide Scavenger Hunt: stops, sponsors, volunteers, prizes, and teams for Nov 7. Today on Live Vibe Coding, I'm building the shell for the Hey Richmond Citywide Scavenger Hunt, presented by Channel RVA. This is a citywide event happening Saturday, November 7, and today's build lays down the real infrastructure behind it before we ever open registration to the public: a place to collect scavenger hunt stops around the city, onboard sponsors, register volunteers, catalog prizes, and get participating teams signed up. This build is a shell first, meaning the data models and admin views come together before any of the public-facing pages get polished. Stops need locations and photo requirements. Sponsors need tiers and logos. Volunteers need shifts and contact info. Prizes need categories and values. Teams need captains and rosters. Getting that foundation right up front means the actual event day experience can move fast without the database fighting us later.
