Build a React CMS From Scratch: SEO-Ready, LLM-Crawlable, No More WordPress

Building a production-ready React CMS live — SEO schema, LLM-crawlable pages, rich text editing, flexible post types, and contact forms. No WordPress required. This is Day 1 of a 2-day build. Today I'm laying a CMS foundation that will power future marketing websites for Xponent21 clients and any agency that wants full code ownership over the sites they build. Tomorrow, we take a real client site that currently runs on WordPress and rebuild it entirely in React. Here is the problem with WordPress: you ship fast and then spend years defending that decision. Rich text editor — real WYSIWYG editing that stores clean HTML in the database, not shortcodes or block soup. SEO schema markup — structured data baked into every page at the component level, so search crawlers and LLMs read it correctly from day one. Crawlable, semantic URLs — clean routing that gives every page a real, indexable address. Contact forms with database — form submissions stored in Supabase, not lost in an email thread. Admin interface — a dashboard where non-technical users can publish content without touching code.
