The Ableton Move has gotten REALLY good. After pulling it back out and spending more time creating with it, I realized there honestly aren’t that many things keeping it from being close to perfect for the way I like to make music. So in this video, I’m walking through the Ableton Move features I’d still love to see — including a true piano-style pad layout, better audio recording workflows, intelligent preset randomization, deeper Ableton Live controller integration, MIDI sustain support, more advanced sequencing tools, and better ways to combine clips. And while filming this, I actually discovered a workaround for one of my audio recording complaints in real time. 😂 Move has received some seriously useful updates since launch, and right now I’m feeling inspired to spend more time with it again — both standalone and alongside Ableton Live.
