Pinter Trooper… £30 Mistake? | Pinter vs Iron Maiden Trooper 🍺

Long time no speak! 🍺 I’m back… and time I’m putting Pinter’s Iron Maiden Trooper Remixed up against the real bottled Trooper from Robinsons. The Pinter brew cost me around £2.58 per 500ml once I included the ingredients and water, while the real bottle was £2.27 from Asda. So is brewing it yourself actually better? Erm… Massive head, the Pinter version still has that slightly “homebrew-y” flavour I’ve been struggling with, and the real Trooper is sweeter, fruitier and much more rounded. After two pretty average Pinter brews, I’m starting to wonder whether homebrewing just isn’t my thing! Have you tried Trooper Remixed in a Pinter? Did yours turn out better than mine?
