Closed Loop System from Home to Homestead | Making Einkorn Zucchini Bread & Zucchini Soda

Nothing goes to waste... or at least that's the goal. Today, I'm sharing how we're building closed-loop systems around our home and homestead. Whether it's saving seeds, composting, finding productive uses for kitchen scraps, improving soil health, caring for livestock, or creating small income streams through our homestead, we're always looking for ways to turn waste into a resource. These simple practices help us reduce household waste, make better use of what we already have, and move toward a more resilient homestead. I hope this video inspires you to look around outside or in your kitchen and ask, "What can this become instead?" If you have tried other closed loop systems or found ways to reduce waste in your home and on your homestead, drop it in the comments below! I would love to learn from you.  🍽 R E C I P E S Fresh Milled Einkorn Zucchini Bread https://thissustaininglife.com/fresh-... 🍹Yeast Based Zucchini Soda: 1 quart jar with a lid, or a flip top bottle 3 cups zucchini juice 2-3 tbsp cane sugar 1 tbsp lemon juice 3 small pieces of fresh ginger 1-2 tbsp einkorn sourdough starter or discard (optional) Mix until sugar dissolves.
