The Ramayana Trailer Has Me Concerned

I really want Ramayana to succeed. In fact, after the teaser, I made a video defending it. But after watching the full trailer, I have some serious concerns. From the VFX and casting to the lighting, lack of practical filmmaking and the way the film seems to be positioning itself for a global audience, the trailer has made me much more cautious about what Ramayana 2026 could ultimately become. This isn't a video about wanting Ramayana to fail. Quite the opposite, I want this film to work. But after seeing the trailer, I think these concerns are worth talking about. 🎬 Want to connect or discuss movies with me?
