Berserk's Darkest Lesson: Guts Warned Them, and Nobody Listened | Ch. 2–3 Breakdown

A family offers a stranger a ride in the rain. He warns them something is hunting him. They let him in anyway, and by sunrise that wagon is a graveyard. Berserk Volume 1, Chapter 2 "The Brand" and Chapter 3 "Guardians of Desire (1)" break down. We look at the brand on Guts's neck, the incubus, a night of skeletons on an old battlefield, what happened to Collette, why Guts laughs when Puck blames him, and how one bloody symbol becomes a declaration of war against the Count. Last time: Guts vs. the Snake Baron (Ch. 1). Next: Guardians of Desire Pt. 2.
