**EARLY ARRIVAL** Swift Creek Brush Fire 3-22-26

On March 22nd at around 2pm numerous brush fires occurred in the southern side of Wake County. This fire was on Toll Mill Court in Swift Creek Fire Department’s first due. While enroute numerous callers reported a large brush fire that was threatening multiple structures. Due to most units still being on a large brush fire off of Penny Road additional mutual aid was requested to respond. Crews operated for nearly 20 minutes before the fire was under control, and stayed on scene for another hour mopping up and extinguishing hot spots.
