Is Earth really our address, or just the smallest part of a home far too large to see? In this Sci-Voy journey, we leave Earth behind and travel outward, layer by layer, to understand how big our cosmic home actually is. We start with our own planet and the Moon, then cross the inner Solar System: Venus's runaway greenhouse heat, Mercury's extreme days and nights, and the nuclear fusion powering the Sun. Beyond Mars and the asteroid belt, we visit Jupiter and Galileo's moons, the possible ocean beneath Europa, Saturn's rings, Titan's methane rivers, and Enceladus's water plumes. Then come Uranus's sideways spin, windy Neptune, the Kuiper Belt, Pluto, and the hypothesized Oort Cloud. From there, we cross the heliopause with Voyager 1 into interstellar space and meet Proxima Centauri, which brings the light-year into view. We then step into the Milky Way: its barred spiral structure, the Sun's place in the Orion Spur, star birth in nebulae, the origin of the elements in your body, the supermassive black hole Sagittarius A*, the stellar halo, and dark matter. Finally, we look beyond the galaxy to the Local Group, Andromeda, and the cosmic web. This is a journey through knowledge, not a literal trip. We use telescope observations, spacecraft data, and physical models, and we separate what is observed from what is modeled, what is strong evidence, and what is still an open question. Life beyond Earth, the nature of dark matter, and the full history of the Milky Way all remain unresolved, and we say so plainly. Sci-Voy - Journeys Through Science.
