“THE IRS IS FINALLY IN! 🔥 1959 GMC Apache Gets a Custom Rear Suspension”

The 1959 GMC Apache build is officially moving forward! In this episode, I finally get the Independent Rear Suspension (IRS) completely mounted into the Apache chassis. This is a BIG step in the build, and there's still plenty of fabrication left to do. I’m welding, boxing and strengthening the frame while figuring out the best way to mount the fuel tank, shock mounts and rear suspension. This truck is truly being BUILT, NOT BOUGHT! I also show the process of fabricating custom frame sections using 14-gauge steel, making cardboard templates, cutting, grinding and welding everything into place. The goal is to clean up the chassis and make it strong, functional and good-looking when it's finally painted. The next steps are getting the coilovers/shocks mounted, finishing the rear frame fabrication, cleaning everything up and eventually moving on to the front suspension and engine.
