Ashlie Slatter & Atl Ongay-Perez 80s Rhythm Dance YOG 24

It was surprising there was no ice resurface after 2 groups, and the final group went straight onto the ice. It wouldn't happen at an ISU event. So #AshlieandAtl were the last couple to skate of 12 couples with 3 warm ups. However a fall can happen at any time, and unfortunately this one occurred on an element, the midline step sequence. They lost a lot of points being dealt with harshly in my view, and ended up 7th. But were 2nd in PCS, and I believe would've been 2nd with a clean skate. But that's how it goes sometimes. 4 of the 9 Judges still placed them 4th which was fair. The 9th places from Canada and Australia were a disgrace. Go back to Judges training, you need it! But our young heroes were still smiling in the K&C with Coach Pippa. I'm sure they will come out in the Free Dance and give a great performance like only they can, with vivacity and flair, and hopefully move up. GOOD LUCK! #ProudofYou #TeamGB
