የኢትዮጵያ ብሔራዊ ባንክ የገንዘብ ፖሊሲ ኮሚቴ ያካሄደውን ስምንተኛ መደበኛ ስብሰባ ተከትሎ በትላንትናው እለት ይፋ ያደረገው መረጃ የሀገሪቱን የማክሮ ኢኮኖሚ አጠቃላይ ሁኔታ፣ የዋጋ ግሽበት አዝማሚያዎችን እና የወደፊት የፖሊሲ አቅጣጫዎችን በጥልቀት የሚመረምር ወሳኝ ምዕራፍ ነው። እንደ ብሔራዊ ባንክ ግምገማ ከሆነ በቅርብ ወራት ውስጥ የተመዘገበው አጠቃላይ የዋጋ ግሽበት ከበፊቱ በትንሹ መሻሻል ቢያሳይም፣ አሁንም ከባንኩ የረጅም ጊዜ የነጠላ አሃዝ ግብ አንጻር ከፍተኛ መሆኑን ያመለክታል። ባንኩ ባወጣው መረጃ መሠረት በመስከረም ወር 2019 ዓ.ም የተመዘገበው አጠቃላይ የዋጋ ግሽበት 14.9 በመቶ ደርሷል። ይህ አኃዝ የኢትዮጵያ ኢኮኖሚ አሁንም ከውስጣዊ እና ውጫዊ የዋጋ ግፊት ጋር መጋፈጡን በግልጽ ያሳያል። የብሔራዊ ባንክ ገዢ ዶ/ር እዮብ ተካልኝ እንደገለጹት የዋጋ ግሽበቱ በሚቀጥሉት ስድስት ወራት ውስጥ የተወሰነ የመቀነስ አዝማሚያዎችን እያሳየ ቢሄድም፣ ሙሉ በሙሉ ከድርብ አሃዝ ወርዶ ወደ ነጠላ አሃዝ ግን ሊገባ እንደማይችል እና በድርብ አሃዝ ውስጥ ጸንቶ እንደሚቀጥል ተነግሯል። ይህ ትንበያ የኢትዮጵያን የኑሮ ውድነት እና የዋጋ ግሽበት ተግዳሮቶች ዘላቂ መፍትሄ ለማግኘት ሰፊ እና የተቀናጀ የፖሊሲ ማሻሻያ ሥራዎች አሁንም እንደሚጠይቁ ያሳያል። በተለይም የዋጋ ግሽበቱ በሚቀጥሉት ስድስት ወራት ውስጥ በድርብ አሃዝ ውስጥ ጸንቶ እንደሚቆይ መገለጹ፣ የኢኮኖሚ ባለሙያዎችን እና መላውን የሀገሪቱን ማህበረሰብ ቀልብ የሳበ ዋናው ጉዳይ ሆኖ ተነስቷል። በእለቱ የገበያ ቢዝነስ ልዩጥንቅራችንም የብሄራዊ ባንክ የዋጋ ግሽበቱን አስመልክቶ ይፋ ያደረገውን መረጃና ሌሎች ተያያዥ ቁልፍ ጉዳዮችን አንድምታ፣ የዋጋ ግሽበቱ ትንበያ ለተራው ዜጋ ላይ ምን ማለት ነው? እየተተገበረ ስላለው ሪፎርም ምን ይነግረናል እንዲሁም የዋጋ ግሽበቱን ለመግታት ምን አይነት መፍትሄ አቅጣጫዎች ተቀምጠዋል? የሚሉትንና ተያያዥ ጉዳዮችን እንመለከታለን ፡፡ አብራችሁን ቆዩ፡፡ Following the National Bank of Ethiopia's Monetary Policy Committee eighth regular meeting, the information released to the public yesterday marks a crucial milestone in deeply examining the country's overall macroeconomic situation, inflation trends, and future policy directions. According to the National Bank's evaluation, while the headline inflation recorded in recent months has shown a slight improvement compared to the past, it still remains significantly high relative to the bank's long-term single-digit target. Based on the data released by the bank, the headline inflation rate recorded in September 2026 reached 14.9%. This figure clearly indicates that the Ethiopian economy is still grappling with internal and external inflationary pressures.
