We spent four days Camping and Spearfishing at Catalina | Hike Camp Dive Cook

Four days hiking from Two Harbors to Little Harbor to spearfish Catalina Island, shore diving and camp cooking. The weather was great and the water was warm, but a storm in Baja caused diving conditions to be less than ideal for most of the trip, up until the last day when it turned beautiful. We dove through tough conditions and hiked to new spots looking for better visibility and big fish. We enjoyed eating fresh fish in the form of ceviche, fish tacos, and sinigang soup. Little Harbor Campground is a paradise, and the campsites were well taken care of, providing shaded pavilions, fresh water spigots, tables, food storage containers, bench, fire pit and a trash can (picked up daily) There were plenty of well-maintained port-a-potties and outdoor showers available. The gear hauling service was very convenient also, making it easy to pack some of the more luxury camping items, like chairs, hammocks and even bbq grills. We shot some fish including halibut, calico bass and California sheephead.
