Located near MP675-672, on BNSF's Needles Subdivision between Barstow and Needles, CA. Speculation is that the Stack train was blown over by strong winds, while travelling Westbound on Main 1. Not sure if it was stopped or moving at the time. The train was blown to the North side of the tracks. The derailment appeared to occur near the middle to rear of the 16,000 foot train, with no locomotives or crew members involved...
