Toyama Bay is among Japan's lesser-known National Cycle Route. Join me as we cycle along the western stretch of the route from Himi Station to Amaharashi Station on a "mamachari" (city bike) in spring. The highlight of this area is usually the Amaharashi Coast where you can see the Onnaiwa Rock against the Tateyama Mountains backdrop, but unfortunately, this day was a bit hazy.
