NEW AREA: Peppes Roof, Northumberland

I got shown this new, small but tranquil area earlier in the year by a fellow local climber. He knew I'd be keen to get stuck into developing it, and so I was. The heat of the summer prevented me from completing things until the autumn and the arrival of cooler conditions. Another project in the form of Mr Crowley got ticked off the list today (18.10.25) and it's another cracking problem. Pepes Roof about a 20 minute walk in on good public footpaths. Peppes Roof may only contain 6 problems but there is another section no more than 20m to the left with a multitude of horizontal and vertical cracks at an easy angle up to about 5m in height which means a great many variations to either solo or lead.
