My name is Ommi Pipit-Suksun. I am a retired ballet dancer, a former soloist with the San Francisco Ballet, and a former principal with Ballet San Jose. I graduated from the Royal Ballet School and Hollins University M.F.A. Dance. I am also a certified teacher through the RAD, ABT, and Balanced Body Pilates. I originally trained ballet in Bangkok where I grew up, and in 2001, I became the first Thai ballet dancer to win a gold medal at the Genée International Ballet Competition. I want to continue sharing my passion for ballet with others beyond the stage.
