Terraria - 39

Longplay of the Re-Logic published and developed 2011 PC game "Terraria". Base game played straight, blind from patch 1.4 onwards. This was probably my favorite game of the 2010's, a runner for best game of the 2010's as well. I cannot praise the developer enough for their integrity and respect of the player in releasing updates and not simply churning out bite-sized content to resell as DLC or micro transactions. That alone makes the game superior than the other supposed contenders for best game of the decade. I beat it at launch, beat it in co-op at patch 1.2 and played it again in co-op at patch 1.3 (though not to completion). It's been over ten years since last time I played and I will use no information resources except what I discover myself and remember from the past.
