Hiragana Total Review | All 3 Charts + Small Tsu & Long Vowels | 117 Questions
Practice all 46 basic hiragana, 25 dakuten and handakuten characters, and 36 yoon combinations in mixed order. Finish with 10 words for small っ and long vowels.
Read aloud. You can also write romaji on paper. There are no on-screen answer choices. Characters allow 3 seconds; words allow 5 seconds. The romaji answer appears first, then Japanese audio starts 0.5 seconds later. Listen and repeat. Pause whenever needed.
READING NOTES
Small っ takes one beat: hold the next consonant, without adding a vowel. Long vowels last two beats. Dots in romaji group the sounds visually; do not pause between groups.
In せんせい, ei is usually pronounced as a long e; in がっこう, ou as a long o.
ぢ and じ are shown as ji; づ and ず as zu. ぢゃ・ぢゅ・ぢょ use ja, ju and jo, like じゃ・じゅ・じょ. These readings represent pronunciation rather than keyboard input. を is shown as o.
Japanese voice: Nanami (AI-generated speech), reused from the chart videos.
