Two Nights RV Camping Ruth B. Kirby Gilchrist Blue Springs State Park

Short two night stay at Ruth B. Gilchrist State Park just outside of High Springs, Florida ... last time here was about three years ago ... only a few small changes over those three years and, IMO, the RV section of the park needs a few upgrades ... this is a beautiful park with a nice hiking trail and the clear blue spring, but most of the camping sites are pretty un-level ... we did a short kayak trip up the spring run to the Santa Fe River then upstream ... lots of turtles, a few gators and two large turkeys seen ... This SP is located near O'Leno State Park ... and I think most campers will travel there to dump their tanks ... as there is no dump site at Gilchrist ... #outdoors #floridastateparks #travel #camping #rving #nature #camper #kayaking #highsprings #florida
