Sonic Neon is an extensive modification of Sonic 3 & Knuckles, utilizing the Mode 1 technology of the Sega/Mega CD for enhanced processing, graphical effects, music, and sound. Sonic Neon features new level designs, new bosses, new music, new cutscenes, and a new story. This demo version contains two playable Zones with five Acts in total. The project's goal is to be a fresh, "new game" like experience. At the same time, the game is an experiment of combining a variety of new ideas. For example, the difficulty curve is meant to be sharper than the average Sonic game. Download: https://shc.zone/entries/contest2026/...
