My Journey Through Homelessness: A Testimony of Faith & Survival (Part 1)

I’m Cadence Psalms, a singer, songwriter, and single mother. For the past several months, I’ve been experiencing homelessness while managing a chronic disabling condition. I’ve been recording my days in real-time—not for drama, but to document my journey of survival, healing, and trusting God through the storm. In this first episode, I share the truth about where I’ve been, where I am now, and why I’m sharing this story. This is not a 'before and after' redemption arc. I’m still in the middle of it. But I’m also still singing, still praying, and still believing that God is faithful. Why I’m Sharing This: I want to offer hope to others who are walking through similar darkness. I also want to be transparent about the practical realities of my situation. As a single mom with a disability, my income is not enough to sustain us.
