My Missile Base Story Part 3

In this video I show you what the above ground layout of my family's Titan 1 Missile base is, while giving you a sneak peak into the epic madness that was my childhood. The craziest thing about growing up at an abandoned missile base is how normal it feels until you look back on it. Our tour crosses the surface of the base—from the top of the sixty-story antenna silos roofs I built with my Dad, to the converted shipping container, to the tops of missile silos, to the roads where my brothers and I learned to ride bikes (and where I learned the hard way why you shouldn't drive a go-kart with no hands). We also check out the massive 1960s pit that was dug to drag out Titan equipment from the underground structures before heading toward the underground entrance.
