Free 🔥 Blues Rock Legends | Live at Isle of Wight Festival 1970 (Inspired Tribute)

🔥 THE BROKEN CABLE, THE HUGE CROWD, AND THE SONG THAT MADE THEM Welcome to Lost Blues Seasons. This session is a tribute inspired by Free's set at the Isle of Wight Festival, August 30, 1970, at Afton Down, England. The bill also included Jimi Hendrix, The Who, and The Doors, and the festival crowd has been estimated at around 600,000 people. Free arrived with "All Right Now" fresh in the charts, and the band was strikingly young: when they played their very first gig in 1968, bassist Andy Fraser was 15, guitarist Paul Kossoff 17, and singer Paul Rodgers and drummer Simon Kirke 18. One of the most retold moments came mid-set, when Kossoff's guitar cable failed in front of the vast crowd and Rodgers calmly apologized before the band counted into "Be My Friend." The performance was released officially as a live album in 2021. This session recreates that afternoon: carefree escapes, tender thanks, brooding power, steamy contrasts, and a resolute closing walk into the unknown, all captured with the raw, unpolished character of a real 1970 outdoor festival recording. 🎧 PERFECT FOR: Late-night listening & reflection Deep focus & studying Fans of classic blues rock & soulful vocals Lovers of historically inspired live recordings Anyone who loves music history's biggest festival moments Long drives & quiet evenings 🎵 FULL TRACKLIST: 00:00 - The Stealer 03:52 - Crossroads 08:10 - Oh I Wept 12:08 - Heavy Load 15:55 - Fire and Water 19:29 - Ride on a Pony 22:59 - Im a Mover 26:33 - Mr Big 30:52 - Be My Friend 34:54 - All Right Now 39:01 - Walk in My Shadow 42:30 - The Hunter 47:08 - Woman 👉 If this session moved you, hit LIKE, drop a comment telling us which track hit you hardest, and SUBSCRIBE to Lost Blues Seasons for more legendary tributes, historic concert recreations, and live concert-style sessions every week. 🔁 Share this with someone who loves classic blues rock history. 🔔 Turn on notifications so you never miss a new session. #LostBluesSeasons #Free #PaulRodgers #PaulKossoff #IsleOfWight1970 #AllRightNow #InspiredTribute #LiveConcertMusic
