Yet without me, does it still live? It lives in the unseen, in the nearly weightless, like a feather. Without a body, does a feather still live? • Angels have no need of wings. Faith does. Anchored in consciousness, it rises and falls, like an Alcippe morrisonia moving among blossoms. • The evening glow strips away its own feathers. Metallic light breaks toward the moon. Night descends singing.
