Amos Brook – Seeds beside the Ancestor Stone [Lost Sessions 1976 Album]Roots Reggae | Dub |Rastafari

Seeds beside the Ancestor Stone is a fictional lost-session concept imagined as a warm, meditative 1976 roots-reggae recording shaped by inheritance, renewal and the transmission of memory. A deep bassline moves beneath steady one-drop drums, restrained guitar skanks and warm Hammond organ, while weathered horns and drifting tape echoes create the atmosphere of old teachings being spoken again beneath an ancient tree. Amos Brook approaches these ten shared songs from the perspective of the generation receiving the inheritance. Children carry ancestral names forward, sleeping seeds awaken beneath new rain, and roots remember a way home even after long journeys across mountains and distant lands. The stone represents what remains, while the seed represents what can still become. Closing with Deep Soil Remember the Journey, the album leaves the past and future joined together in the same earth: every generation grows from something planted before it. TRACKLIST 1.
