A Walk Through Central Bucharest 🇷🇴 Dorobanti, Romana & Calea Victoriei

Join me for a walking tour through the heart of Bucharest, starting on Radu Beller Street in the elegant Dorobanți area and gradually making our way toward the historic center of the city. The walk begins along Strada Radu Beller, one of the more popular streets in northern-central Bucharest, surrounded by cafés, restaurants and the residential streets of Dorobanți. From here, we continue through the neighborhood and reach Calea Dorobanților, following it south toward Piața Romană. From Piața Romană, we continue through Piața Amzei before reaching Calea Victoriei. It's the weekend, and this part of central Bucharest is especially busy, with Piața Amzei and the surrounding streets full of people enjoying the city. Calea Victoriei is part of the Open Streets event, with car traffic temporarily removed and the avenue opened up to pedestrians. The result is a completely different atmosphere, with people walking freely along the street and enjoying one of Bucharest's most famous and historic avenues. We continue along Calea Victoriei before heading toward Splaiul Independenței and the banks of the Dâmbovița River. The walk ends at the Holocaust Memorial, a monument dedicated to the victims of the Holocaust in Romania.
