Learn Spanish with an A1 listening practice: The Bus Gift (El regalo del autobús). A real Spanish conversation from Spain, one sentence at a time: hear it first with no subtitles, then read it with the English while a teacher explains it, then say it out loud.
Every night, Marta the bartender gives her regular Pablo a gift on the bus. He expects a bottle, but it is a very strange present, and it makes the whole bus laugh.

How it works:
🎧 Listen to each sentence with no subtitles and guess what it means
👀 Read it with the English
💡 Hear what it means and one useful point (tip cards for grammar and words)
🎤 Say it out loud in the Your turn pause
🔁 Follow the whole conversation at the end: how much do you understand now?
💬 ¿Cuánto entendiste a la primera? How much did you understand the first time? Comment it below
Level: A1 (CEFR, beginner) · About 9 min · Slow, clear native Spanish narration (Castilian Spanish from Spain)
🎧 Listen & Learn: 20 sentences of one conversation (On the Night Bus), each heard first with no subtitles, then explained, then repeated. The whole conversation plays straight through at the end.
💡 Tips in this video:
• para ti: for you. Use para ti when you give something to a friend.
• no es: it is not. Put no before the verb to make a sentence negative.
• Me gusta: I like it. Use me gusta with one thing, and me gustan with many.
• Entonces: then, so. Use entonces to link two ideas, like so in English.
• hay: there is, there are. Hay works for one thing or many things.
