Scottish fiddle player Adam Sutherland performing a composition dedicated to his grandmother 'Iris'

Great Scottish fiddle player and composer Adam Sutherland, performing one of his compositions, which was dedicated to his grandmother Iris'. Adam was joined by Marc Clement on guitar and this recording was from a concert held in St Margarets, Braemar, during the 2018 North Atlantic Fiddle Convention (NAFco), which featured talented traditional musicians from all over the world, performing in Aberdeen and Aberdeenshire. Adam is one of Scotland's most talented fiddlers and Scots traditional music awards composer, who won 'Composer of the Year' at the 2017 Scots Trad Music Awards.
