8.Jacob's Ladder | Bible Story for Kids | Watercolor Animation

Alone on a stony hill, Jacob falls asleep with a stone for a pillow — and dreams of a stairway reaching to heaven, with the angels of God going up and down on it. A gentle watercolor Bible story for kids about God's promise: "Behold, I am with you, and will keep you, wherever you go" (Genesis 28:15). Based on Genesis 28:10–22. Jacob left Beersheba and set out for Haran. When the sun set, he took one of the stones of the place for a pillow and lay down to sleep. He dreamt of a stairway set upon the earth whose top reached to heaven, and the LORD stood above it and promised to be with him. When Jacob woke up, he said, "Surely the LORD is in this place, and I didn't know it." In the morning he set up the stone as a pillar, poured oil on its top, and called the place Bethel.
