11.Joseph and His Brothers (Part 3) | Bible Story for Kids | Watercolor Animation

Ten brothers travel to Egypt to buy grain, and bow before a great ruler — not knowing he is the brother they sold long ago. A gentle watercolor Bible story for kids about Joseph forgiving his brothers and seeing his father again — Part 3 of the story of Joseph. Based on Genesis 42–46 (and Genesis 47:27; 50:20). When famine came to Canaan, Jacob sent his ten sons to Egypt to buy grain, but kept Benjamin, the youngest, at home. The brothers bowed before Joseph, the governor of Egypt, and did not recognise him. Joseph tested them, kept Simeon in Egypt, and later hid his silver cup in Benjamin's sack. When Judah offered to stay as a slave instead of Benjamin, Joseph could not hold back his tears: "I am Joseph! Does my father still live?" (Genesis 45:3). He told them not to be grieved, "for God sent me before you to preserve life" (Genesis 45:5). God spoke to Jacob in the night and promised to go down with him into Egypt, and Joseph and his father met again in the land of Goshen.
