Your First Real Paycheque Changes Nothing

When you're younger, making $60,000 a year sounds like unlimited money. Then you finally get your first real job, see the salary, divide it by 12 and think you've made it. And then taxes introduce themselves. In this video, I yap about what actually happens when you start making your first real money — realizing how expensive existing is, watching your paycheque disappear into completely normal expenses, lifestyle creep, comparing salaries, and somehow still thinking, “If I just made a little bit more…” Making more money is great. You get more independence, more options, and you can finally buy some of the things you've wanted for years. But then six months pass, your brain decides your new salary is normal, and you're back to wondering what's next. Your first real paycheque changes a lot.
