Safeguarding Yemen’s Cultural Memory: The National Museum of Taiz

Despite ongoing conflict in Yemen, local heritage professionals continue their efforts to protect the country's cultural heritage. With support from Cultural Emergency Response (CER), local partners have safeguarded the archives of the National Museum of Taiz, conserving and restoring 1,934 documents and providing preventive conservation for over 150,000 more. This project was made possible through the dedication of Heritage for Peace and the General Authority of Antiquities and Museums in Taiz, with special thanks to Isber Sabrine.
