Bahamas | 02. Coral Garden

BAHAMAS — 02. CORAL GARDEN Beneath the surface, another world is already in motion. In _Coral Garden_, the Bahamas signature motif descends below the waterline and reappears in constantly shifting colours — familiar, yet transformed by everything surrounding it. Rich strings, expressive woodwinds, warm French horns and harp move through sparkling orchestral textures, while delicate steel pan colours, marimba and light Caribbean percussion appear only in fleeting flashes. Nothing dominates. Everything responds. Melodic fragments seem to pass from one instrument to another like sunlight refracting through crystal-clear water. Harmonies change almost imperceptibly, revealing new colours with every movement as the orchestra creates the sensation of exploring something vast, intricate and alive. Below the turquoise surface lies another landscape: coral formations, shifting currents, flashes of colour and hidden movement extending far beyond what can be seen from above. There is no darkness here. Only discovery. Coral Garden is the moment the familiar surface disappears — and an entire hidden world reveals itself beneath the light.
